Tai Chi: Movement for All Ages

Duration: Classes are one hour

Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art that is done slowly, and has a low impact on the body. Tai Chi has been found to help with flexibility, physical stability, and healthy living.

  • 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM – Yang Style 8-Form
    This is a basic Tai Chi form in the Yang tradition.
  • 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM – Seated Tai Chi
  • 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Tai Chi for Arthritis
    This is a program that was developed by the Arthritis Foundation in conjunction with the Tai Chi Institute for Health. This form is a modification of the Sun Style 30 form.
  • 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM – Tai Chi with Fan
  • 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM – Meditation and Mindfulness
  • 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM – Tai Chi for Energy
  • 6:30 PM – 7:30 PMYang Style 24 Tai Chi
    This is the most popular form of Tai Chi.
