Driving Directions and Public Transit

By Car

Driving Directions:
Hillside Terrace is just off Amboy Road in the Town of Great Kills. The entrance to the parking lot is at the rear entrance to the church, just off Cleveland Avenue. Turning onto Hillside Terrace from Amboy Road, continue to the first turn on the RIGHT, Locust Avenue. Continue to the next left, Cleveland Avenue and turn left. The entrance to the parking lot is on your left. Parking in the lot is limited; street parking is ample and there are no meters.

You may enter the church building on Cleveland Avenue, an entrance into the Fellowship Hall; or you may enter at the Hillside Terrace front entrance of the building.

Handicap Access:
Please use the Cleveland Avenue entrance. Once in the building, walk down the entrance hallway, and then continue to the far end of the Fellowship Hall. Turn LEFT and you will see the entrance to the Wheelchair Lift. There is ample room for a wheelchair and one other passenger.

Public Transit

By BUS:
The closest MTA Bus stop is at Hylan Boulevard and Hillside Terrace, and the following bus lines all serve this stop:
S78 – Hylan Boulevard. Whether coming from the Staten Island Ferry or the South Shore of Staten Island, the S78 is direct to our stop. Walk northwest along Hillside Terrace to 62 Hillside Terrace. Total walk time is about 9 minutes.
S79 – Hylan Blvd & Bayridge. (Direction: S.I. MALL Via HYLAN. This bus line also travels in Brooklyn, so be aware). Connection to the S79 via the S76 (DIRECTION: OAK MILL ROAD) – This bus line is possible at the New Dorp Lane & Hylan Boulevard stop. Walk northwest along Hillside Terrace to 62 Hillside Terrace. Total walk time is about 9 minutes.
X1 – S.I. / NYC Express. Part of the dedicated lines of express buses that travel between the boroughs of New York City, this line has limited stops, limited times, and the fare is significantly higher than the standard NYC MTA NYC Transit fares. Walk northwest along Hillside Terrace to 62 Hillside Terrace. Total walk time is about 9 minutes.

By TRAIN:
The nearest SIRT Railway stop is Great Kills, whether from the Tottenville or St. George Ferry directions. Exit near intersection of GIFFORDS LN and BALTIMORE ST. Start out going South on GIFFORDS LN towards BROWER CT, turn left onto AMBOY RD, and lastly turn right onto HILLSIDE TERRACE. Total Walk time is about 5 minutes.
